Fish and chips is a demountable catamaran. It can be disassembled and stacked on a road trailer. The cockpit is removable and stacks on top of the hulls.

To assemble for launching:
  • Extend trailer to full width and slide hulls out.
  • Insert fore and aft beams into sleeves, slide hulls in and bolt up.
  • Place main beam into recess and bolt up from inside hulls.
  • Place cockpit into position and fix with support pins.
  • Lash forward trampoline to fixings.
  • Raise mast using trailer winch if necessary.
  • Launch off trailer.

Note, this is not a typical "trailer sailor" as the estimated time to set up would be 4 - 5 hours.

Auxiliary power is an extra long shaft outboard motor (8 - 9hp).

Fish and chips should be a reasonably comfortable inshore cruiser for 4 - 5 people.
